This is an invitation to work together
for the common good of the American people.

For the last 75-80 years, our nation has led the world through our example as a democracy made of people from different backgrounds who work together for the good of our society. We are not perfect and have not always lived up to our ideals, but in every generation, many Americans have chosen to try. Over time, we have built a society with the quality of life, education, technology, food supply, and enjoyment of guaranteed rights and freedoms that many other nations aspire to achieve.

All of this is now under direct attack. We must act to protect our basic constitutional rights and freedoms to preserve our democracy- no matter which political party is in power.
